Almond Milk

This is an oh so simple to make milk and it tastes brilliant. Nice enough to drink on its own.
I found this recipe in the “How it all Vegan – Irresistible Recipes for an Animal-Free Diet” book by Tanya Barnard & Sarah Kramer.

Ingredients:
½ cup raw almonds
2 cups water
2 dates, pitted

Method:
In Thermomix, High-speed Blender or food processor, blend almonds until they become an even meal.
Add water and dates.
Blend again.
Strain any lumps and chill.

Makes 2 cups

  1. I’m not positive where you are getting your information, however great topic. I needs to spend some time studying much more or working out more. Thanks for magnificent information I was looking for this info for my mission.

    • All my information is gleaned from people who I consider to be above reproach in terms of their integrity, and impeccable research over many years. I state in every article where my information is obtained; from whom and from where. Usually T. Colin Campbell in the China Study (a world renowned researcher in nutrition – check out his credentials by clicking on the China Study in the book section of my blog), Dr Joel Fuhrman in his book Eat to Live (A medical practitioner who has studied a huge range of scientific research on nutrition – check out his credentials by clicking on Eat to Live in the book section of my blog), Brendan Brazier a celebrated Canadian Iron Man who advocates a Vegan diet (Check him out by clicking on Thrive in the book section of my blog). Be good to hear your comments afterwards.
      Thanks for your feedback.
