A very simple to make, delicious and refreshing Vegan Milk Shake. Ideal during these days of 40 degree heat.
Ingredients
1 cup raw Brazil nuts
2 cups filtered water
1 cup ice
3 large frozen bananas
3 tbsp raw cacao or carob powder
4-6 pitted dates
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch sea salt
Method
Place all ingredients into the Thermomix or high speed blender and puree until smooth and creamy.
Oh my, this glass looks good – even on my minus 17 degree Celsius day! I just added Brazil nuts to my shopping list (my husband ate the last few that were in the fridge).
Good to hear from you again Angela. The temperature here for the past week continues to hover between 35 and 41 degrees and as we have not had any rain for at least 5 weeks the bush is tinder dry. Bush fires are raging in Tasmania, NSW and in the South West of Victoria but so far, fingers crossed, nowhere near Bendigo where I live.
In this heat I’m really enjoying the chilled nut milks, especially after a hard workout on the push bike.
I just made it, dear Paul & loved it so much,..It s divine! xxx
