The temperatures here are still in the high 20’s to low 30’s so I’m constantly making fruit smoothies to cool down and keep rehydrated.
This Banana & Mango (my favourite fruits) Smoothie only takes minutes to prepare and is just so refreshing and full of fruity full bodied flavour.
Enjoy.
Ingredients
3 cups of ice cubes
2 bananas
1 mango
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp honey
1 to 2 cups of almond milk
Method (Thermomix or high powered blender)
Place ice in TM bowl
Blitz for 5 seconds on speed 10
Add all other ingredients
Blend until smooth. I usually blend for up to 60 seconds on speed 10
Sounds good! I would drink this even in our minus 20 Celsius temperatures! 🙂 I’ll look for a mango today.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy it Angela. With temperatures in the mid to high 20’s and warmer weather to come, it’s hard to imagine minus 20. Take care and keep yourself warm.

Another great & tasty Vitamix recipe !!! MMMMMMMMMM! Refreshing too!
Sophie, I made a wonderful non dairy ice cream yesterday that consisted of the following;
3 cups ice cubes blended into snow
2 frozen bananas added to the blended ice cubes with 2 tbsp. honey 2 tsp. of vanilla essence and a cup of almond milk
Blended them together then added more almond milk until I got the right consistency.
It was magnificent. You should try it.
I already did that too, with my Vitamix! It is so good too, I agree here! x
Great minds think alike. lol
Have you tried Kefir yet? You’ll have to try it.
